Space Spider wins 2016 New Equipment Digest Innovation Award!

Readers of New Equipment Digest have voted for the Artec Space Spider 3D scanner as the most innovative solution covered by the magazine in 2015.

We’ve got some fantastic news from Rosemont, Il, where one of the main manufacturing events of the year, M&T Conference and Expo, is taking place – Space Spider has won the 2016 New Equipment Digest Innovation Award!

Artec’s most precise and robust 3D scanner earned the largest number of votes in an online poll conducted among the readership of New Equipment Digest (NED), one of the most widely read design and manufacturing magazines, which is celebrating its 80th year in print.

It’s a great honor for us at Artec to receive this award. The competition was really tough, as the voters had to choose from 20 solutions that the NED editorial team selected out of more than 1,500 new tools, programs and systems covered in the magazine in 2015.

Congratulations and many thanks to everyone who has contributed to producing this immaculate 3D scanner. We’ll continue doing everything in our power to keep the bar high.
