Artec 3D scanners to be showcased at the Prototyping-MNE 2020 manufacturing technology event
Prototyping Xpo, a trade show for industrial prototyping and design, and Machineering Network Event (MNE) come together for the first time at the Prototyping-MNE 2020 exhibition, which takes place at Kortrijk Xpo in Belgium on February 5-6, 2020. Both trade shows specialize in manufacturing technology and will join forces this spring to host more than 200 exhibitors offering solutions for revolutionizing industrial manufacturing processes from design to production.
The city of Kortrijk is the center of the Belgian design industry, and is well-connected to established manufacturing centers. The area is also home to a number of colleges, start-ups, and knowledge centers.
3D scanning solutions continue to change the field of manufacturing design and reverse engineering. Artec 3D’s breakthrough devices were among the first scanners used for various purposes in the field, including quality control and rapid prototyping. The ability to capture and transform objects of different geometries, sizes, and textures into precise 3D models with demanding levels of accuracy and precision allows Artec 3D to stand out among the brands in the 3D scanning industry.
Three of our main scanners, namely, Eva, Space Spider, and Leo, will be showcased at the exhibition by our partners from 4C Creative CAD CAM consultants. 4C’s experts specialize in 3D scanning solutions and CAD/CAM/CAE software and support. The company represents Artec 3D’s products in the Netherlands.
Leo, Eva, and Space Spider address different scanning needs within manufacturing and beyond. While Leo and Eva are ideal when it comes to scanning medium to large-sized objects, Space Spider has been designed to capture small items or intricate details of larger ones.
Artec Leo is the fastest professional handheld color 3D scanner available on the market today. Its unique ability to build a 3D model of the scanned object on the rear touchscreen display in real time makes it an autonomous and powerful solution. Leo is fully integrated with Artec Studio post-processing software, where users can continue working with the model and take advantage of the software’s full suite of intuitive tools.
Artec Eva is a lightweight handheld 3D scanner that captures medium-sized objects in high resolution color, with key levels of precision. Eva can be used to scan almost any object, including body parts. The versatility and usability of this scanner has earned it a notable reputation among scanners of the same class and made it a leader in its respective domain.
Artec Space Spider provides the user with unprecedented accuracy when scanning small objects or larger objects with complex geometries. This is a high-resolution color 3D scanner with an autonomous battery that gives you hours of scanning freedom away from an AC power source. Space Spider has been widely used in many fields, from medicine to mechanical engineering and science and elsewhere. Both Space Spider and Eva, as well as Leo, integrate with Artec Studio for post-processing scans and exporting 3D models.
We invite you to join Artec 3D at this unique event that brings together specialists, department heads, and C-level executives from engineering, production, maintenance, quality control, supply chain management, and other industries.
