Artec and 3DZ to exhibit at MECSPE trade show
The Artec team is going to Italy in the middle of March to show off Eva and Space Spider handheld scanners together with our Italian partners 3DZ. Meet us at MECSPE, Italy’s major manufacturing conference & expo. Divided in thematic halls, MECSPE will offer visitors a complete overview of materials, machines and processing technologies, covering all stages of production, from a concept to an end product.
Artec took the quality of 3D scanning to a new level releasing the high resolution scanner Space Spider in 2015, which was developed for scanning at the International Space Station. Space Spider is our most robust and ultra-precise portable scanner that captures the sharpest edges and thin ribs, demonstrating unparalleled repeatability of scanning results even in changing ambient conditions.
The show will also feature Artec’s best-selling scanner Eva, which has a larger field of view and higher scanning speed and is best suited for scanning medium-sized and large objects. Both scanners are used in a variety of industries where precision matters, including metrology, reverse engineering, quality control and more. The data collected by Artec 3D scanners is processed in Artec Studio 10, which offers a range of powerful algorithms that automate much of editing and post-processing. 3D models made with Artec scanning solutions can be exported to CAD and CAM applications.
