3D scan to CAD workflow to be demoed during ISAP Customer Day
Artec’s Gold Partner KLIB will take part in the Customer Day of ISAP AG, which is a German integrator of product development solutions specializing in CAD applications for mechanical engineering. The theme of the event, dedicated to the company’s 25th anniversary, is titled A Walkthrough of the Digital Production Process.
The head of KLIB, Knut Lehmann, will hold a reverse engineering workshop, during which he will showcase the capabilities of Artec 3D scanners Eva and Space Spider, with the focus on the path from 3D scan to CAD, reverse engineering, and quality control.
3D scanning has become an intrinsic part of the modern production cycle, and Artec creates hardware and software that meet the highest industry standards in terms of speed, accuracy, and ease of use.
Eva and Space Spider are light-weight 3D scanners of metrological precision that effectively capture both simple and complex geometry in fine detail. The 3D models obtained using Artec scanners can be exported into reverse engineering software and CAD & CAM applications, such as Geomagic Design X and SOLIDWORKS, directly from Artec Studio 12, which is the latest version of Artec's cutting-edge 3D software that simplifies work with 3D data by applying a range of automatic post-processing algorithms.
Check out our case studies about using Artec 3D scanners and software for retrofitting construction machines, repairing naval ships, monitoring the integrity of water pipes, and other success stories.
In order to cater to the needs of prospective customers in the most efficient manner, Artec offers various bundles of 3D scanners, Artec Studio, scan-to-SOLIDWORKS plugins and Geomagic software at great prices. Find out more with Knut Lehmann during the ISAP Customer Day.
