The Industrie Paris trade show to feature advanced 3D scanning solutions for businesses
One of the most significant events of the European manufacturing sector, Industrie Paris 2018 will offer its guests the winning combination of a trade fair and a conference program. Industry experts along with solution developers and manufacturers will be at the show to share their vision of the next-generation rapid product development, automation and quality assurance.
Make sure to drop by the Artec 3D stand, where we’ll be demoing the world’s leading 3D scanners together with our French partners 3D Avenir SAS, Arketyp 3D SAS, Boreal, and Kallisto. These companies have a vast experience in integrating 3D tech products into manufacturing environments, giving their clients an edge over competitors. They offer a flexible system of installation, training, support and maintenance services which can be adapted to the needs of each particular customer.
In Paris, we’ll be presenting Artec Leo, Eva and Space Spider 3D scanners. Leo is the newest handheld 3D scanner in the Artec product line, which takes the ease of professional 3D scanning to a new level. Scanning an object with Leo, you don’t need a laptop or tablet as you can see the object being reconstructed in real time on the scanner’s built-in half HD touchscreen. A wireless device whose sleek design features its own battery, Leo does not need to be connected to an external power source.
Thanks to its 3D resolution of up to 0.25 mm and 3D point accuracy of up to 0.1 mm, Leo is very well suited for scanning small parts. Along with that, Leo’s expanded field of view allows for capturing huge volumes of 3D data in minimum time. Applications of this scanner range from advanced manufacturing and quality control to healthcare, forensics and VR.
Artec’s other great tools for 3D scanning include Artec Eva and Space Spider. These structured-light 3D scanners of metrological precision effectively capture both simple and complex geometry in fine detail. Scan larger objects with Eva and smaller ones with Space Spider. Artec 3D scanners are used by industry leaders for tasks such as retrofitting construction machines, repairing naval ships, and monitoring the integrity of water pipes. The scanners are complemented by Artec Studio 3D software, each new build of which simplifies work with 3D scans while guaranteeing the best quality. Artec Studio 12 also allows for seamless export of 3D models into Geomagic and SOLIDWORKS environments at the click of a button. We’ll be happy to show you the latest software improvements, thanks to which data processing has become incredibly fast and easy.
We have compiled special packages of Artec 3D scanners, Artec Studio software and Geomagic products for those who would like to purchase professional engineering solutions at discounted rates. Meet Artec & partners at Industrie Paris to choose the package that suits your needs best.
