Artec 3D scanners transforming manufacturing at the IMTS
This September, the biennial International Manufacturing Technology Show, the largest of its kind in the western hemisphere, comes to Chicago, Illinois on Sept. 12-17. It is an exciting event for stakeholders across the manufacturing space from all over the world. Every IMTS presents the opportunity to find inspiration, exchange ideas, learn about innovations, and forge new relationships.
With more than 15,000 new machining technologies on display, Artec’s industry-leading and transformative 3D scanners will also take their place as a major driver of manufacturing. Visit us in the East Building, Level 3, Booth 135659 and see firsthand how our 3D scanning technology is revolutionizing the manufacturing workflow.
Meet some of our partners from across the United States – GoMeasure3D, TriMech, 3DMakerWorld, Delscan DBA Rev1 Technologies, Indicate Technologies, Exact Metrology, GoEngineer, Klontech, and Source Graphics – who will help you identify and implement a 3D scanning solution that suits your needs. Digitize Designs, another gold-certified and trusted Artec Ambassador in the US, will also be showcasing Artec scanners in Booth 135659.
We will all have the entire range of our 3D scanners on show – Artec Ray, Leo, Eva, Space Spider, and Micro. Between them, these high-precision devices can capture a range of objects from miniature parts to huge objects like planes and ships.
Artec Ray is a long-range scanner with laser technology that is designed to capture large objects like wind turbines, airplanes, and buildings with submillimeter precision. Ray can capture objects from a distance of up to 110 m.
The Artec Eva and Space Spider are two high-precision, portable 3D scanning solutions. These handheld scanners are perfect for small to mid-sized objects like motorcycle parts, measurements of the human body, furniture, and more.
Artec Space Spider is based on blue-light technology, and is perfect for capturing small objects with intricate details. It has scanned things like cylinder heads, coins, and even a human ear.
Artec Leo, our fastest professional handheld 3D scanner yet, comes with real time, on-screen 3D model projection and processing, an inbuilt touch screen and battery, and can capture both large and small objects wirelessly.
And finally Artec Micro, an ultra-high-precision, metrology-grade desktop 3D scanner, ideal for extra small objects with complex and intricate surfaces. The scanner has up to 10 microns accuracy and automated data capture. Once your object is set up, click once, and the scanner does the rest.
All of these scanners can be used independently or in combination with each other. Scan data can easily be combined in Artec Studio, and integrated with other processes like photogrammetry. With native integration for industry-leading software like Geomagic, you have the flexibility to optimize your workflow for your specific application.
Head over to our booth to see live demos of these powerful devices in action and chat with us about how they can work for you.
