Artec, VirtuMake to hold a hands-on workshop on 3D scanning in hard-to-reach places

Artec’s team will hold a workshop this November on 3D scanning at archaeological sites together with our Austrian partner VirtuMake. The workshop is part of the annual Conference on Cultural Heritage and New Technologies (CHNT 2014), taking place in Vienna.

During the first part of the workshop, you will learn about the challenges of field scanning in hostile weather conditions, including in the hot climate of sub-Saharan Africa and in gusty Ireland, and then you’ll be offered a chance to try out our Eva and Spider 3D scanners for yourselves!
