Artec Eva and Spider to go on show at SIGGRAPH Asia 2015

The 8th ACM SIGGRAPH Conference and Exhibition on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques in Asia will be taking place in the Japanese city of Kobe in early November. SIGGRAPH 2015 is the place to be if you want to meet computer graphics and interactive techniques pros and explore ground-breaking technologies that will shape the industry’s future.

Artec products have an impressive record of contributing to the production of Hollywood blockbusters, the latest being Terminator Genisys, for which Legacy Effects made a head scan of Arnold Schwarzenegger.

At SIGGRAPH 2015, you’ll be able to see Artec’s 3D scanning technology in action if you check out the stand of our Japanese partners DataDesign, who’ll be demoing Eva and Spider, known for their unparalleled accuracy, speed and ease of use. Eva works best with medium-sized objects and Spider is the preferred choice for small objects with intricate details.

The scanners will be showcased along with the new version of our professional software, Artec Studio 10, which has a range of new powerful features, such as automatic continuous scanning and tracking alignment boost, to ensure the smoothest scanning experience at an unprecedented speed.
