Artec 3D scanning solutions to go on show at Gitex 2015

Artec and our partners in the Gulf area, Jacky’s Business Solutions, who operate the Shapify Booth in Kuwait, will be co-exhibiting at the 35th Gitex Technology Week, the largest technology show in the Middle East and Africa. Jacky’s are headline sponsors of the 3D Printing section, which will make its debut at this year’s show, expected to feature 3,900 exhibitors.

At Gitex, you’ll be offered a chance to experience Artec’s rapid 3D body scanning technology firsthand by taking a 3D selfie, also called shapie, in the Shapify Booth, which makes a full-body scan within a short 12 seconds. Five minutes later you’ll be able to see a preview of your 3D model on a computer screen, replicating your facial features, hairstyle and clothes with an amazing likeness.

Want your 3D model to be turned into a figurine? No problem – we can print it out on a 3D printer and deliver it your address. Figurine prices start at $169 for an S-size figurine (6"/15cm). An M-size figurine (7.5"/19cm) would cost you $219 and an L (9"/23cm) is worth $299. Delivery is $35. You can also download your 3D model from the Shapify website for $40.
