Artec 3D scanners and software at PlastPol plastics fair

Our Polish partners, 3D Master, will be demoing the capabilities of Artec handheld 3D scanners Eva and Spider for manufacturing industries at the 19th International Fair of Plastics and Rubber Processing PlastPol at the end of May. PlastPol is a leading European plastics processing expo, which this year is expected to bring together hundreds of exhibitors from over 30 countries.

Along with our high-accuracy and fast scanners, 3D Master will be presenting the newest version of our professional 3D scanning software, Artec Studio 10, which was released at the end of April. AS 10 is a comprehensive toolkit for collecting, processing and editing 3D data captured with Artec scanners. The Ultimate edition of AS 10 also supports a range of third-party 3D sensors.

Artec Studio has become even faster and now has significantly more automated features than the previous versions of the software. AS 10 effectively maintains texture and geometry tracking even when shaking, turning and wiggling your scanner about. A new powerful algorithm incorporated in AS 10 automatically detects any tricky scanning areas and realigns scans during the scanning procedure itself, substantially reducing the time needed for post-processing 3D data.
